Herriman Parade

Saturday the 28th was Herriman Town Days- starting with the parade in the morning. The City Council got to ride in the wagon and Mom was able to let the kids ride with her. I got a picture right before the parade started, but the pictures I tried to take during the parade didn't work, cause my camera batteries died! :( Talk about bad timing. Anyways, the kids loved riding in the wagon- they were the 5th entry. They wore their cowboy hats and matching shirts that Gma bought them. They got to throw taffy at the crowd as they rode. Rob went to find them when they were done and they all came back with a hat full of taffy. It was a really long parade, and it was super hot that day. We decided to go home after instead of staying for carnival rides, since the kids got to ride a bunch of rides at West Jordan the previous weekend. Later that day we took them swimming at the South Jordan Rec Center. I can't wait until the Herriman Rec Center is done and we won't have to drive so far!
