I Love to See the Temple

We had the best Valentine's Day ever - in my opinion...

We were blessed to go to the House of the Lord and be sealed together as a Family for Time & All Eternity. This means that if we are faithful, we will have the blessing of being together as a family forever.

Robert & I have waited a long time to be able to have a companion that we love and cherish and want to be with for eternity. We are so grateful to have found each other. There were many tears of joy shed that day.

Thanks to Mom & Dad, Ethan & Emily, and Nick & Jen for being there, and the rest of our loved ones that were there in spirit.

The beautiful Rocky Mountains on our beautiful day. Like the temple, they remind us of God's love for us.

Mmmm... Toes!!!

Baby Toes
So Sweet
And Tasty!!!

Valentines' Notes

The kids and I made "envelopes" to hang on the door so we could write notes to each other for Valentines' Day. It didn't quite catch on like I'd hoped - I think they forgot about the writing notes part! But I wrote a few for them, and that was good, so it was fun anyway.

Tumbling Revue

Macy & Elise had a tumbling recital last Saturday. Here are our cute girls!

This is their teacher, Miss Teresa... she is the cutest!
Here are videos of the girls. The one on the left is Macy and she is the 3rd from the left. Elise's video is on the right and she is the 4th from the right. I'm so excited that I figured out how to use the video feature on my digital camera! It's not the greatest picture, but better than nothing!

Rockin Out

Doooood!
I'm rockin out here! No pictures please!
Nick on Bass...
Rob lead guitar...
Yay for  Rock Band! Lotsa fun, and they're doing pretty well! Jen came over to scrapbook with me too. We had our own fun. :)

Twinkle Graduation!

On January 29th Elise graduated from the Twinkle level in Suzuki violin. We went to Cottonwood High School where she got to stand on stage with about 50 other kids and play all the Twinkle Variations. We missed a pic of that, but here is Elise right after the concert. She did a great job and is progressing with her talent even though I've been a big slacker about practicing with the girls since Tessa was born!

Random Tessa pics

This post is for all you faraway Grannies and Grandpas and family and friends. Tessa is growing so fast, as babies do. It's fun and sad at the same time. Here are some pics from the last month.
She has mastered the art of back-to-tummy rolling, and is now working on tummy-to-back. Yesterday was the first day she did that. She'll be crawling before we know it! She can squirm her way forward and sideways and then she gets mad and wants to be picked up.
One of her many cute and funny faces.
Listening to Daddy play the piano! She LOVES it when you sing to her... gets the biggest grin.
Sisters... Tessa can almost sit up by herself without the Bumbo. She does it for a few seconds and then rolls forward or sideways, so we still have to help her.
One day we got home and I laid her on the floor and went to do something and
a few minutes later checked on her and she was asleep! Funny baby.

"I can't believe you're disturbing my bath for pictures, Mom!" She LOVES bathtime, but she doesn't fuss when I take her out of the tub like she used to when she was a newborn.
"Take that!"
This is new in the last few days - she loves to stick her tongue out, and she loves it when you stick yours out at her. It's so funny! We all just crack up.
