Rotten Milk!

I decided to steal my mom's idea and turn the milk rotten yesterday... Isaak opened the fridge and said, "(Gasp), Kayleen! Look at the milk!!" And I said, "What's wrong with it?" to which he replied, "It's GREEN!" I teased him, saying, "Uh oh. Did you guys leave the milk out on the table again? It must have turned rotten!" (They do that a lot, actually...)

So then Isaak had to show and tell everyone about the "rotten milk". We had it with our Banana Bread Brownies for dessert. Very Yum. You should try them. :)

For dinner we had lots of green things - 

koolaid, jello, and asparagus, with corned beef and cabbage.

Even Baby Tessa's rice cereal turned green to match her green beans.

Macy got to go skiing with her Gpa Halverson, so Isaak and I had a "date" together. We went to get a new screw for his glasses, went to Target to get a birthday present for his friend Brady (whose party Isaak gets to attend on Saturday), and then got lunch at Carls' Jr. When we got home we ate & then assembled this puzzle which was the toy from the kid's meal. Isaak said this morning that puzzles are his new favorite toy. He did a lot of it by himself. It was fun spending time together!

Missing Teeth

Pretty soon Elise will have to have all her meals pureed, like Tessa. (But look at those beautiful BLUE eyes!) Elise has lost TWO teeth in the last TWO weeks, and another one is loose. 

She already has a hole where another one hasn't grown in. 

So... get ready to share your baby food, Tess! :) 

Just kidding. Elise has been such a good helper with Tessa. It's really nice that she likes to play with Tessa and hold her and take care of her for me while I'm teaching or on the computer. All the kids love Tessa and each other and that's really fun to see. Here is how they were sitting while watching Fantasia 2000 the other day...

Awwwww

Almost Crawling

I forgot I took this video a couple of weeks ago... She's not crawling yet, but she is very close! 

Happy Baby!

Tessa was being so stinkin cute tonight. Macy and I were talking to her and playing with her. All the kids are so cute with her. I just had to videotape this to share with you! As you can see, she is sitting up on her own. Sometimes she still topples over, but she's getting used to keeping herself upright! You can also hear her cough a little bit. She's feeling a lot better, though, so we're grateful. And she's been doing this cute little quiet-high-pitched-shriek thing lately that is just adorable.
