My sweet husband has many wonderful attributes, and since he was honored last night, I thought I'd share a few of them with you.
We went to the Qqest company summer party at Sugarhouse Park. It was catered by Famous Dave's (and we even got to take home a huge container of free leftovers!), and there were lots of fun blowup slides for the kids to play on. There was also free cotton candy, snowcones, and popcorn. The kids were in heaven!
Robert was honored as the Employee of the Month. I appreciate the fact that Robert is a hard worker with a great sense of responsibility. His bosses' boss, Guy, read a really nice letter from one of the clients that Robert has taken care of, and Guy also commented that he has received many such letters from different clients about Robert's phenomenal customer service. :) The teasing came after that, when Rob was asked to sing Karaoke for the crowd. He was almost willing to do it, until Guy started clapping his hands and stomping his foot as if he expected a Country Hoedown. Everyone chuckled.
Robert will receive a $100 bonus as his reward. He also won a $50 Chevron gas card (while they were drawing names out, we were joking that it would not even fill the tank in our minivan right now), but 50 bucks is 50 bucks. Rob was SUPER disappointed when they announced that his co-worker Jesse, for whom Robert is managing accounts while Jesse is away on company business, won the free Xbox 360. If the employees didn't show up to the party, and their name was called, too bad so sad. BUT, if they weren't there because of company business, they still won whatever they were drawn for. Kind of lame if you ask me. :) Robert's name was drawn 2 names after Jesse's, and the other person wasn't there either, so he technically should have won the Xbox. Oh well. He's trying to talk me into letting him spend his $100 bonus on an Xbox instead.

Another thing that I love about Rob is his musicianship. This was one of the first things that attracted me to him. So, I have to post this funny picture- one day Rob decided he was bored and wanted to try playing guitar and piano at the same time. It was really cool, actually- he kept switching back and forth between the two. I've told him that from now on he's not allowed to play unless he's recording himself, because he plays so much great stuff that he doesn't remember later on! Don't you wish you had that talent? Love you Honey!
